Being Christian

Former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams provides a simple yet eloquent introduction to the core of Christian faith: Baptism, Bible, Prayer, and Eucharist.

Simply Good News
Bishop and Bible scholar NT Wright offers a fresh look at the Gospel, explaining why Jesus’ message is good news and not merely good advice, revealing its power to transform us, our relationships, and the world.
The Dream of God
This beautiful, liberating book encourages us to see Christianity not as creed or institution, but as “the vision of a new possibility for human life rooted in an ancient understanding of God and lived out by a Nazarene carpenter.”
To Love & Serve
This book provides a comprehensive introduction to the beliefs and practices of the Anglican Church of Canada. Each chapter comes with reflection questions for individuals or groups.

Transforming Questions

Whether you're exploring faith for the 1st time or the 50th time, this video discussion series is designed to help us move deeper by engaging some of faith's most basic questions. Who is Jesus? How should we read the Bible? Why is there suffering? Can we even question our faith?

This is a great resource for those who are new to the faith, those preparing for baptism, confirmation, or reception into the Anglican Church of Canada, as well as life-long Christians seeking to explore these questions in a new way.

Over the course of eleven sessions, through listening and sharing, all are invited to wrestle with these foundational questions in each other's company. Doing so will help us learn more about ourselves, one another, and the Jesus we are seeking.
