The Diocesan Council meeting opened with a prayer by the Bishop, followed by the adoption of the agenda with amendments and approval of the previous minutes after corrections. 


The Archbishop highlighted regional gatherings, mission model discussions, and clergy placement updates, including progress in Penticton, Valhalla, and Kimberley, along with leadership development efforts. 
The Executive Archdeacon reported on property management, regional consultations, budgeting improvements, and insurance updates, emphasizing collaborative work with parishes. 


Canon Andrew Stephens-Rennie shared updates on regional profiles, Thriving Communities, and improving parish web presence. 


Financial discussions addressed October statements, budget challenges for 2025, and plans for a narrative budget. Property matters included plans for New Denver, Trail, and St. Aidan’s, where a site analysis for potential sale was approved. Updates were also given on Greenwood, Keremeos, and Summerland properties. The meeting concluded with announcements, a seasonal blessing, and plans for future sessions in the new year.
